Saltus

We originally created Saltus to be a seasoned salt and were using it on home made chips in our air fryer, but as usual we ventured out and started to try it on other things.

Here is a list of things we and/or our customers have used Saltus on/with:

• Home made chips in the air fryer (as seen in pictures to the left)
• Eggs
• Tostones (fried green Plantains)
• Tostones de Pana (fried Breadfruit)
• Hamburgers both as a salt as well as mixing it into the patties before grilling
• French fries (both homemade or from a bag)
• Pork chops (baked, grilled, or fried)
• Steamed Veggies
• Popcorn (with or without butter)

We simply use it as a stand alone salt or we use it in combination with other spices.

Our Saltus Seasoned Salt is being used by customers in all of the items listed above.  If you come up with something new please drop us a note and let us know what you used it on and what your thoughts were after tasting it.  Before and after pictures are always welcomed along with a brief description.

One of our customers enjoys his eggs with a combination of HappyZest and Saltus.  Having never tried it before we decided to take his recommendation one morning and give it a try.  Well once again we are happy to say that it was really good.  If you have eggs in the morning give it a try.
