Lamb chops ready to bake or grill

Lamb Chops

Lamb chops are one of our favorites with MediteRican and Saltus.  It adds a unique flavor and sits well on the palate.

We typically start by:

  • Mixing
    • Saltus
    • MediteRican
    • Olive Oil
    • Fresh garlic gloves
    • Cardamom pods
  • Blend the mixture until it reaches the consistency of a marinade
  • Pour over lamb chops in an oven safe dish
  • Rub marinade into meat and on bones
  • Cover dish with oven safe lid or foil
  • Place in refrigerator overnight or bake right away
  • Bake the lamb chops in the oven set at 350 degrees Fahrenheit
    • Internal temperature of meat should be 145-degree Fahrenheit for medium rare
    • Internal temperature of meat should be 160-degree Fahrenheit for medium
  • Let lamb rest for 10 to 15 minutes (to allow the flavors to redistribute) before serving

We have also grilled them, but our personal preference is baked in the oven.
